I’m Craig Slay and I’ve used my nearly 25 years of experience as a lawyer assisting clients with the concerns they face every day, from unexpected personal and family circumstances to business or government matters to general uncertainties about the best way to handle situations or conflicts. I am excited to start work every day because I know that I will have new opportunities to use my skills to help transform difficult circumstances into acceptable solutions for clients.

This is more than a job; I’m on a mission to build lasting relationships with clients and to earn their trust as their go-to adviser for life’s challenges. I am passionate about teaching clients to recognize issues of consequence – the things that really matter – so that they put their energy and effort into productive solutions. We strive to provide efficient and useful advice and counsel pinpointed to specific needs. And we are careful to help clients see the big picture and how our solutions work to achieve our clients’ goals.

I was raised to follow the Golden Rule: “Treat others as you want to be treated.” It governs all aspects of our client relationships. We strive to earn our clients’ trust for the long term, recognizing that our clients’ experience is the best advertising we can have. We recognize that trust must be earned. It is not automatic. And we work very hard to earn and keep your trust.

Long ago, I graduated from Mississippi State with two degrees. After a brief time in corporate sales, I went to law school at the University of Alabama, earning my Juris Doctor. My passions are my faith, my family and my work. When I’m not engaged in one of those aspects of my life, I enjoy trail running, hiking, college sports and muscle cars.
